Grumpy Goat Experiment

This is a delicious, crusty baguette only slightly enhanced with a bit of Rye flour and some ground flax seeds. This is not a traditional baguette and is a bit of a denser texture than that. I do sprinkle a bit of coarse sea salt on top. I love this sliced with butter or used for your next bruschetta recipe. Ingredients: Type #1 homegrown red fife wheat, Rye flour,yeast, flax seeds, sea salt. All our bread's are at or nearing use of 100% of our homegrown wheat - we have noticed that without some of the additives found in store bought flours, our wheat doesn't brown quite as beautifully. We will continue to see what we can do about that but if you notice your loaf is slightly paler than in years past just know that is the reason. It should be just as good if not taste better than before regardless!

Great light Deli-style Rye bread. Good for making sandwiches (slightly flatter than a loaf bread because it is cooked free form), or as toast with your eggs in the morning. Ingredients used: Type #1 homegrown red fife wheat, Rye flour, yeast, sea salt, caraway seed. All our bread's are at or nearing use of 100% of our homegrown wheat - we have noticed that without some of the additives found in store bought flours, our wheat doesn't brown quite as beautifully. We will continue to see what we can do about that but if you notice your loaf is slightly paler than in years past just know that is the reason. Nice dark molasses sweetened bread. This does not come out overly dense. Ingredients used: Type #1 homegrown red fife wheat flour, Rye flour, cocoa powder, molasses, yeast, instant coffee, sea salt, caraway seeds. Ingredients: Type #1 homegrown red fife wheat, Rye flour, yeast, molasses, cocoa powder, instant coffee, caramel color, caraway seeds, sea salt. All our bread's are at or nearing use of 100% of our homegrown wheat - we have noticed that without some of the additives found in store bought flours, our wheat doesn't brown quite as beautifully. Delicious 9" round focaccia covered in olive oil, minced garlic, dried rosemary, shredded asiago, and sprinkled with coarse sea salt. This is great eaten plain, dipped in olive oil and spices, toasted with butter, or sliced horizontally and used for sandwiches. Ingredients in this recipe include: Type #1 homegrown red fife wheat, yeast, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, asiago, rosemary, sea salt, and a teaspoon of sugar to help the yeast activate. All our bread's are at or nearing use of 100% of our homegrown wheat - we have noticed that without some of the additives found in store bought flours, our wheat doesn't brown quite as beautifully. This is a hearty loaf loaded with our homegrown wheat flour, with a fantastic seeded texture. Probably my favorite one to eat these days. Ingredients: Type #2 homegrown red fife wheat, oats, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, flax seeds, honey, sea salt. All our bread's are at or nearing use of 100% of our homegrown wheat - we have noticed that without some of the additives found in store bought flours, our wheat doesn't brown quite as beautifully.
