Grumpy Goat Experiment

This is a fairly hefty loaf loaded with a swirl of cinnamon sugar and covered with raisins. We usually slice and toast with some butter or use in French toast! Ingredients: Type #1 homegrown red fife wheat, buttermilk, raisins, fleishmanns yeast, granulated sugar, cinnamon, sea salt. All our bread's are at or nearing use of 100% of our homegrown wheat - we have noticed that without some of the additives found in store bought flours, our wheat doesn't brown quite as beautifully. We will continue to see what we can do about that but if you notice your loaf is slightly paler than in years past just know that is the reason. It should be just as good if not taste better than before regardless!

This is a fairly hefty loaf loaded with a swirl of cinnamon sugar and covered with Walnuts. This is a great alternative for those of you who love cinnamon toast but can't handle lots of raisins. We usually slice and toast with some butter or use in French toast! Ingredients: Type #1 homegrown red fife wheat, buttermilk, walnuts, fleishmanns yeast, granulated sugar, cinnamon, sea salt. A simple, slightly enriched, soft loaf of easily slice-able white buttermilk bread. Great for toasting or for sandwiches. This white bread uses our homegrown Type #1 crushed Red Fife wheat. All our bread's are at or nearing use of 100% of our homegrown wheat - we have noticed that without some of the additives found in store bought flours, our wheat doesn't brown quite as beautifully. We will continue to see what we can do about that but if you notice your loaf is slightly paler than in years past just know that is the reason.
