Grumpy Goat Experiment

This is a delicious, crusty baguette only slightly enhanced with a bit of Rye flour and some ground flax seeds. This is not a traditional baguette and is a bit of a denser texture than that. I do sprinkle a bit of coarse sea salt on top. I love this sliced with butter or used for your next bruschetta recipe. Ingredients: Type #1 homegrown red fife wheat, Rye flour,yeast, flax seeds, sea salt. All our bread's are at or nearing use of 100% of our homegrown wheat - we have noticed that without some of the additives found in store bought flours, our wheat doesn't brown quite as beautifully. We will continue to see what we can do about that but if you notice your loaf is slightly paler than in years past just know that is the reason. It should be just as good if not taste better than before regardless!

Ingredients used: Type #1 homegrown red fife wheat, Rye flour, yeast, sea salt, caraway seed. All our bread's are at or nearing use of 100% of our homegrown wheat - we have noticed that without some of the additives found in store bought flours, our wheat doesn't brown quite as beautifully. Ingredients: Type #1 homegrown red fife wheat, Rye flour, yeast, molasses, cocoa powder, instant coffee, caramel color, caraway seeds, sea salt. This order is for four bagels.

Medium spiced, delicious, cheddar Hot Pepper bagels made with our home grown peppers and white cheddar cheese. These are our personal favorites! As you'll see I changed the name from Jalapeno to Hot Pepper. We have run out of our supply of jalapenos but still have other homegrown peppers that we will be substituting in. I will do my very best to maintain a similar 'heat' level but pepper varieties might vary from cayennes, to Bulgarian carrot, to hot lantern peppers.

This is great eaten plain, dipped in olive oil and spices, toasted with butter, or sliced horizontally and used for sandwiches.
