Delicious 9" round focaccia covered in olive oil, minced garlic, dried rosemary, shredded asiago, and sprinkled with coarse sea salt. This is great eaten plain, dipped in olive oil and spices, toasted with butter, or sliced horizontally and used for sandwiches. Ingredients in this recipe include: Type #1 homegrown red fife wheat, yeast, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, asiago, rosemary, sea salt, and a teaspoon of sugar to help the yeast activate. All our bread's are at or nearing use of 100% of our homegrown wheat - we have noticed that without some of the additives found in store bought flours, our wheat doesn't brown quite as beautifully. We will continue to see what we can do about that but if you notice your loaf is slightly paler than in years past just know that is the reason. It should be just as good if not taste better than before regardless!
